How to Report an Error

Errors in data, ratings, or factual content can be reported via the contact page. All reports are reviewed by Liam Browne directly. Please include the URL of the affected page and a description of the issue.

What Qualifies as a Correction

Blue Chip Analytics treats the following as corrections requiring prompt action:

Differences of analytical interpretation — for example, disagreement with how a power rating weights certain variables — are not corrections. Those questions are better directed to the methodology hub or the contact page.

Data and Model Corrections

Core data on Blue Chip Analytics — ratings, weather values, travel calculations, and spread comparisons — is generated by deterministic Python pipelines. When a data error is identified, the pipeline is corrected and affected pages are regenerated. The corrected values replace the previous values on the live page.

Model corrections — changes to how ratings or calculations are constructed — are documented in the methodology hub changelog when they affect the interpretation of results.

Correction Notices on Pages

Significant factual corrections — where a published value or claim was materially wrong — are noted on the affected page with a brief description of what changed and when. Minor data refreshes and routine pipeline updates are not individually noted.
